Taiwan Excellence showcased its latest automation technologies and smart manufacturing solutions at Manufacturing Expo 2026, held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) under the theme “Building Sustainable Manufacturing with Taiwan’s Adaptive Solutions.” The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion featured innovations from 17 Taiwan Excellence Award-winning companies, highlighting advanced technologies in industrial automation, AI computing, Industrial IoT, industrial networking, and sustainable manufacturing solutions. These technologies are designed to improve productivity, reduce operating costs, and support manufacturers in their transition toward Smart Manufacturing.

During the exhibition, AAEON, ASSOMA, PLANET Technology, and WALRUS PUMP unveiled their latest innovations through dedicated Product Launch Sessions. The presentations showcased advanced solutions in AI-driven manufacturing, industrial networking, energy-efficient pumping systems, and safe chemical management, demonstrating how emerging technologies can enhance manufacturing efficiency, sustainability, and operational safety.

In addition to these product launches, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion featured innovations from 13 leading Taiwanese brands: APLEX, CHIMEI MOTOR, FATEK, FENRI, GETAC, HCP, KSS, MCM, SOLOMON, SYNTEC, TECHMAN ROBOT, TONG CHENG, and RHYMEBUS. Together, these companies demonstrated Taiwan’s strengths in developing high-performance industrial technologies that deliver greater efficiency, precision, and sustainability across a wide range of manufacturing applications.

During the event, MEGATech interviewed industry experts from several companies exhibiting within the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion to gain insights into the latest industrial innovations. SYNTEC Elevates CNC Automation with Smart Controllers for Precision and Sustainable Manufacturing

The CNC controller serves as the core of every CNC machine, processing machining commands and controlling machine operations to ensure precise cutting, drilling, and part fabrication. SYNTEC Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. showcased its 220TB+ CNC Controller, designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency, machining accuracy, and sustainability for modern production environments.

According to Mr. Thanawat Tachasomboonsuk, Country Manager of SYNTEC Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., one of the greatest challenges faced by CNC manufacturers is maintaining consistent machining accuracy. To address this, SYNTEC has developed advanced features such as Auto-Tune Compensation, Thermal Compensation, and various error compensation functions that continuously maintain machine precision. In addition, high-speed communication between the CNC controller and servo motors enables faster system response while minimizing positioning errors during machine operation.

Beyond precision machining, SYNTEC is expanding into CNC automation with integrated Pick-and-Place robotic solutions and its SIM Factory platform. The system provides real-time machine monitoring, production performance analysis, alarm notifications, and operational data, enabling manufacturers to optimize machine utilization, reduce downtime, and improve overall factory productivity.

To support sustainable manufacturing, the 220TB+ CNC Controller also incorporates an innovative Chip Breaking function that reduces the need for continuous coolant pump operation during machining. Mr. Thanawat added that SYNTEC plans to further expand its solutions across Thailand and the ASEAN region by offering machine retrofit services that upgrade existing CNC machines with next-generation SYNTEC controllers. Compared with purchasing new equipment, retrofitting provides a more cost-effective approach while extending machine lifespan and supporting manufacturers in their transition toward Smart Manufacturing and Green Manufacturing.
